9.30-10am & 10-10.30am Tatty Bumpkin
yoga inspired class for children (Estuary Room) Join Tatty Bumpkin on a yoga inspired
adventure class incorporating music, storytelling, yoga positions
and lots of fun! Today’s story will be based on Tatty Bumpkin’s
trip around Darts Farm in search of delicious ingredients to make
a tasty meal for some special friends. Classes suitable for children
aged 2-7 and their parents! Please pre book your free place at
the farm shop tills.
10.15-11am Wildlife walk with James Chubb (Meet
in the courtyard) Join our local education ranger on a wildlife
walk, collecting edible goodies from around our farm and finding
out what wildlife lives here.
11am ‘Cow Parade’, have your photo taken with the prize
cow and sponsor a square in ‘Plot the Pat’ (On the field)
Gerald David Butchers will be bringing a prize winning cow to parade
around the field. You can sponsor a 10 x10 meter square and she does
her first pat in your square you will win a roll of local beef topside
from the butchers. £2 per square.
11am-12pm Summer Fish BBQ Demo with Dave
Kerley from the Fish Shed (Courtyard) The expert behind the Fish Shed
Dave Kerley, will show you some of the best local fish dishes you
can create for your summer barbeque. Followed by the chance to
buy your fish lunch straight off the barbeque.
12-2pm Sausage Making with Gerald David
Butchers (Courtyard) Get hands on with the butchers making sausages and
cook them in our wood fired oven. You can also buy a delicious
sausage in a roll for you lunch.
2- 3pm Meat BBQ demonstration with butcher
Alastair David & Darts
chef (Courtyard) Alistair David and the Darts Farm chef are going
to be filling the summer air with the lovely smells of the barbeque
when they demonstrate some fantastic barbeque ideas.
3-4pm Think Deep Film Screening & Cookery Demo with James Chubb (Estuary Room) Join local Education Ranger James Chubb as he cooks
recipes from East Devon’s latest film, “Think Deep”.
A screening of this fantastic film, which explores local fishing,
sustainability and some great recipes, will be followed by a demonstration
of one of Michael Caines’ recipes from the film, with a chance
to sample the dish devised by the Michelin-starred chef.
4pm Cyder taste & talk with Green Valley Cyder—(Farm shop)
Learn about the traditional methods of how this award winning local
cyder is made and taste the finished product.
TOPSHAM FOOD FESTIVAL MENU
Topsham Food Festival Restaurant Specials Available Monday 14th – Saturday
19th June 12-3pm 50p per festival special meal donated to the festival
charity fund. The local food festival specials will be listed each
day on the specials board. There will also be a Deli Bar special
baguette each day with a donation of 50p to the fund.
